IN MEMORY - WHISPER  It is with sadness that I share with the loss of my darling Whisper. I thank you OK Collie Rescue for bringing this ray of light into my life at a time when my world had entered a dreadfully dark time... the loss of my amazing Father and so many other tragic and stressful events in a very short time had brought me to the saddest point in my life and had me missing my collie companion from the past, Brook, more than ever. Then I found you and you brought me Whisper. Yes she was very senior so I knew my time with her may be limited, but after a few days it was like she had been with me forever. I am crying as I write this, not because she is gone, but because I can still feel her love surrounding me, she was a truly wonderful furry friend and for weeks after she was gone her furry friend (my Ragdoll cat Oliver) searched for her. I used to take her to visit my Mom in the nursing home and she would walk proudly right beside her wheelchair and greet all the residents and staff with a wag of her and welcome their awkward petting, it brought huge smiles to the faces of even those who didn't know where they were. I wish Whisper could have stayed with me longer, but I also believe she came into my life for a reason, to save me from the dark misery and despair I was feeling at the time... and now I believe my loving Father was waiting there to greet her when she left and take care of her for me until we meet again. Such an appropriate name... "Whisper" as that's how she entered my life and how she left, softly, quietly and peacefully. I love you baby girl and miss you so much...
