Brandy is a large 4.5 yr old healthy smooth collie. He is an extremely smart dog who has participated in foundation training  in agility and is well trained. He is a high energy dog, who will need a home that will provide a regular exercise regime as well as ‘brain exercises’. He loves various dog ‘games’ and learns quickly.

He is currently in foster care with another collie. They became pals very quickly and now play together and share toys without any problems. Brandy is reactive to some other dogs. This is something his foster people are working on with him, and he is showing improvement.

Brandy has learned no ‘rough housing’ indoors. He has also learned that counter surfing is not permitted. He is fully house broken and has never messed indoors. He loves to sit and snuggle in the evenings in front of the TV with his people and collie companion. He especially loves a good massage and makes the most delightful sounds when this is received :) 

Brandy will need a home with an active lifestyle, ideally one with an interest in dog sports, such as agility, tracking etc.  We believe he will excel at these activities. He will do best in a home without children due to his size and energy level – it would be too easy for him to knock children over during play. We will also avoid homes with cats, as he is reactive toward them.
